Our company was founded more than 90 years ago, with Andrew McDicken’s goal being the distribution of the highest quality fresh Scottish fish to consumers far and wide. Through Andrew’s passion and knowledge, the company was quickly able to position itself as a leading figure in the seafood industry, expanding in all operational areas across the board. This exponential growth in stature has continued throughout the company’s four generations and on to this day.
A family business at heart; Graeme Fraser and Peter Johnston are now in charge, after growing up seeing their fathers work for Andrew McDicken and falling in love with the company along the way. Not only did Fraser and Johnson inherit the company, the pair were also passed down 90+ years of fish expertise and industry knowledge. This has seen the company grow from strength to strength – with a rigorous continued commitment to adaptability and innovation, setting us apart as we continue to strive to reach the high standards set out by Andrew all those years ago.
